Adamawa Police CommissionerThe Adamawa polic command has congratulated Nigerians as the Muslim Ummah in the state join their counterparts all over the world to celebrate this year Eid EL-Kabir.
The Commissioner of police, Olugbenga Adeyanju,fdc, in a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje,notes that this special period of sacriface geared towards attaining wholesomeness, reinforces his belief that with the citizen’s collective perseverance and voluntary compliance with the prevention regulations put in place by governments at all levels, the state will surely overcome the COVID-19 pandemic and other criminal activities.
The police boss assures the people of Adamawa adequate security during and after the Eid el-Kabir celebrations, noting that proactive and robust anti-crime measures, including the deployments of tactical and intelligence assets of the Command, are already in place to prevent any untoward incidents and crime in the state.
The Command however, reminds the citizens that the COVID-19 prevention regulation orders , are still in force. It therefore enjoins the citizens to observe the Eid celebrations bearing in mind the unusual times occasioned by the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic as the Command will leave no stone unturned towards the due enforcement of the orders.
While the command enjoined citizenry to be modest in celebration and have a crime-free period during and after the celebration.
