THUNDERSTORM KILL18 KIDNAPPERS IN TOUNGO ADAMAWA BORDER...Police clear air






The Adamawa state Police command has clear the air over rumour that thunderstorm kill 18 kidnappers in Toungo a community border town in the state.


In a release by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the command, Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje said the news has been going about on the social media , that such incident happened at a community in  Cameroun Republic known as Pawati forest. And not in Toungo,Adamawa state as been reported.


In his words, "In order to keep the record straight such incident never happened anywhere in Toungo, Adamawa State as alleged but in Pawati Forest,  somewhere in Cameroun Republic".



 The Police authority however notes that, It's not in dispute that Toungo Local government is bordering with villages under Cameroun Republic which a times criminals comes in to  Border Communities and commit crimes but, with this Border closure, measures had been taken by the Command to prevent such.


 The command while urging members of the public to disregard such report , equally assured the people of the state of  the commitment  of the police at protecting lives and properties of the citizenry at all time.
