ODSG COMMENDS RUFUS GIWA POLYTECHNIC MANAGEMENT...
The need for all stakeholders to put up a collaborative effort towards a good standard of education and the development of the society can not be over emphasied.
Speaking at Owo, over the weekend, Ondo state Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu during the foundation laying ceremony of the ultra - modern students' hostel of the Rufus Giwa Polytechni, Owo that the management of the institution has performed creditably excellent.
The Governor appreciates the numerous landmark feats so far recorded by the management team and gave a kudos in this regard.
In his words," You have performed excellently and you have made me proud. It is not a surprise to me ,when I appointed you and your team, I know that I have choosen the right people. I know what you can do. Ever since the school was established, no Chairman has performed as you have done. Your commitment to the success of this cidatel of learning is great. I want to commend you , members of the governing council, the school management and the entire students for this great feat "
Akeredolu however charged the management team not to relax in their geared efforts at making sure that the institution remaining one of those on top that can be regarded as distinction in their discharge of duties and choice of graduands to be churn-out.
In his response, the Chairman of Governing council, Banji Alabi thanked the Governor for his support for the school at all times , assured him of his un -alloyed commitment to the school development.
Alabi noted that " On behalf of the management team, staff and students of the polytechnic, we are sincerely short of words to describe and appreciate the level of that great support Your Excellency has been given to the institution, yet we still saying we are very grateful "
" And again from all of us in this Polytechnic community, we say a big thank you .We also assure you of our continue commitment to growth , progress and success of this institution. We will not relent in our collective efforts at working towards the progress at all times ". Alabi added.
