ODSG RE-ASSURES COMMITMENT ON OPERATION AMOTEKUN

The Ondo state governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has again re-assures that operation Amotekun has come to say in the region,with commitment of all stakeholders.

 Akeredolu who is also the Chairman of the south west Governors Forum,and Ondo state Governor, says Governors in the region is prepared to pursue operation Amotekun to a logical conclusion.

Governor Akeredolu gave the words of assurance at the 2020 Armed forces Remembrance day celebration held at Alagbaka cenotaph  Akure, Ondo state capital.

Akeredolu in his words said ,"Governors in the region are committed to the Success of Amotekun to check mate cases and incidences of banditry, kidnapping,Farmers and Herders clashes across the region,while we the Governor's are ready to see to a logical conclusion the project" the Governor posits.

The Governor who noted  that operation Amotekun  is not a para-military outfit informed that the introduction of the security outfit is to Compliment the efforts of other security agencies in the region at ensuring that there is peace, tranquility and development in the region.

While he denounced any attempt to formed a parallel security in the country or either use the outfit as a political tool of any form.
