RUGIPO : OYM GROUP DRUM SUPPORT

A non-political group, Owo Youths Movement ( OYM )  have condemned in totality a report credited to one online media as an attempt to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere currently been enjoyed at the Rufus Giwa Polythecnic Owo (RUGIPO).


In a release signed by the chairman and Secretary of the group respectively,  Mr.Felix Omodugbagbe and Motunrayo Ajayi described the publication as  scandalous, mischievous with an attempt calculated at bringing disrepute to image of some key personalities in the institution and by extension the institution at large.


While the group appreciate the good gesture of the state Government, Arakunrin Odunayo Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN and the Chairman of the Governing council of the institution Mr. Banji Alabi in  making sure that peace,progress and development does not elude the institution towards his various efforts,most especially the recent order by His Excellency for the re-absorption of the primary and secondary  teachers of the staff schools of the institution is a commendable step and big-hearted nature of the Governor.


The OYM noted that the various developmental strides by the governing council body of the institution is tremendous and should not be allowed by some few disgruntled elements to scuttle, as the RUGIPO is been reposition for greater feats amongst comity of higher institution globally.


While the group enjoined the general public and all relevant stakeholders have any good intentions for the foremost institution to shun those  with characters of destruction and support  towards the  developing of RUGIPO  for a more brighter future.
