LISFAPM : A NON GOVERNMENTAL BODY GIVES FREE SKILLS TRAINING TO WOMEN






As part of her efforts at imparting on the lives of people across all stratas of the society, the Longe International Support and Financial Aid Programme ( LISFAPM )in connects MOREEN'S Foundation has trained over thousand of women through their free training projects.


Speaking at the closing ceremony and presentation of certificates to the women at Yabo town in Yabo local government area of Sokoto state, Barnabas Longe, project coordinator said the Organisation has continued to touch lives of several people across the country through their various programmes.


He posits that the organisation embark on the training programme as efforts to assist women and youths who are vulnerable to poverty in the society, with aim  of equiping them for future. Adding that the organization also have packages like financial aid assistance for indigent students in the society.




Speaking at the colourful ceremony, Chairman  of Yabo local government area, Hon. Bababala Musa apprrciate the initiative of the organization and their gesture in the local government area. Saying the knowledge and skills acquired by the women go a long way at assisting them in life. Calling on other body and non-governmental agencies to emulate the good gesture of the organization.




While some of the skills the women were trained include soap making, leather works, poultry and fisheries, cosmetics make-over amongst other professions at no fees charged for the training by the organization.
