FAYEMI LEADS CHRIST'S SCHOOL OLD STUDENTS'
Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti state has emerged president of 75/80 set of Christ's school Ado-Ekiti old students' association along other executives to run the affairs of the association for another three (3) years.
His emergence came at the annual general meeting of the association held at the government house, Ado-Ekiti over the weekend where the election of Officers of the association was held.
Governor Fayemi in his acceptance speech at the occasion, apprrciates the contributions of the out-gone executives under Reverend Olumuyiwa Awe, promising his readiness to serve the association deligently and making the welfare of the members his priority without missing words.
He posits that his position as Governor of Ekiti state and Chairman of Nigeria Governor's forum will not jeopardise his responsibilities as the president of the association, while noting that governance will also be separated from his membership of the association.
Fayemi informs that his association- led executives will work in cooperation with other sets excutives and national body of the association at ensuring that their Alma- matter is rank one amongst the best Educational institution globally.
He reiterates that as plans are at top- gear towards returning the school back to the Anglican communion, the old students' will ensure proper develpment of the school. Noting that the bond Christ's school had with all the old students' is hard to break.
In his words, "I can not just explain the bond we the old students' of Christ's school Ado-Ekiti had with the school, and that is while students' from other schools say we old students' from Christ's school are in (cult) they do envy us".

Earlier the immediate past president, Reverend Olumuyiwa Awe apprrciate the support and cooperation of the excutives and all members of the association towards their Passion and flair at developing the Alma-matter, seek same support for the new administration.
