2019 NIGERIA VOTES : VOTERS ENLIGHTEN ON POLLS - Yusuff
With few hours to the Presidential and National Assemblies election on Saturday 23rd February, 2019,Nigerians electorates have been admonished to be vigilant of whom to vote for during the polls and shun violence.
Speaking in Akure, ondo state capital, Special Adviser to the Governor on political matters, Hon. Isiaka Adebayo Yusuff said the All Progressive Congress (APC) administration under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari has made tremendous landmark change in the life of this country, that needed to be taken to the next level of development.
Hon Yusuff posits that Some areas distinguished APC administration from other opposition parties, as within the frame of four (4) years, government have been able to creditably stabilised the system by preventing corruption and siphoning of government funds, through a single-accout system, infrastructural development, streamline rate of corruption in the public glare, schoo-feeding system, boost to the agricultural sector and power amongst other.
SA to Governor on Political Matters.
The Governor's aide noted that the sincererity nature of the present administration in the country at fighting corruption has continued to keep the likes of Jolly Nyame and others who are members of APC in prison.
Noting that the integrity nature of President Buhari in this regard speaks volumes, hence Nigerians should massively vote for him and the party, APC Nationwide during the election, adding that corruption fighting is still on course, as it is one of the hooks and bane tying the progress of the country's development.
Yusuff who noted the prepare and readiness of the state at voting en-mass for APC come next Saturday's election, saying the Akeredolu-led administration will not involved in votes buying or involved in any election malpractices ,as the Governor has warned all the citizenry in this regard. Adding that the president statement on ballot boxes snatching and stuff is like a matching order to send signals to intended hoodlums bent at disrupting and mar the elections with various malpractices.
