ODSG SETS TO CLEAR WORKERS SALARY ARREARS...Commits over #9billion on toad projects









The Ondo state government has vowed her commitment towards the welfare and good living of her citizenry as the Governor,Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu promised at offset payment of all outstanding salaries and pensions in the state.


Speaking at the distribution of compensation funds for those affected in the course of various road projects across the state in Akure, ondo state capital,said his government will continue to be focus at making life comfortable for her citizenry.



The Governor posits that before the week runs to an end, all outstanding salaries and pensions of three (3) months and 20% deduction will be paid to workers and pensioners in the state.


Akeredolu noted that, nothing less than #9billion has been committed to various road projects across the eighteen (18) local government areas of the state, with a view at making accessibility to all nooks and crannies of all the town's and villages in the state.


The state helsman, informed that the commitment of his administration at ensuring that all projects are people oriented, moreso that no project will be abandoned.


Saying " the commitment of my administration at ensuring that we have people oriented projects across the state, while the era of abandoning projects is over, as little resources available must be judiciously utilised".


Adding that transparency and accountability will continue to be the guiding principles of his administration, as he posits that all funds, most especially thr Paris club will be duely accounted for at the public glare.



Nothing less than #403 million was paid as compensation to people across the state, as he informed that , human-face approach was put into consideration in this regard, as people without vital documents as certificate of occupancy ( C of O )  were considered as beneficiaries in the compensation.
