APC CRISIS : TUNJI ABAYOMI CRIES FOR JUSTICE...Says am in serious pains
Crisis rocking the All Progressive Congress ( APC) across the federation seems not yet settled as an aspirant on the platform of the party in Ondo North Senatorial district area of Ondo state, Dr Tunji Abayomi has threatened to dump the party for another party, vowing that he must contest the 2019 general election.

Abayomi insisted that he would challenge what he called illegality and breach of the Constitution by APC National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole and the National Working Committee, NWC for substituting his name with that of Senator Ajayi Boroffice who did not participate in the party’s primaries for Ondo north.
The human rights lawyer who insisted that he remains the only authentic candidate of APC for the senatorial district having participated and duely won the primaries conducted by the party, however said he would defect to another political party if the ticket was not returned to him by the party.
Abayomi when asked if he consulted Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on his threat to dump the ruling party, Dr Abayomi explained that he was deeply in pain over the irregularities trailing the APC primaries and he does not need to consult anybody before he would defend his legitimate right, rather had protested to Governor Akeredolu over the anomalies.
He reiterated that he remains the authentic candidate of party having participated and won the primaries conducted by the party, that any other candidate is illegality and against the rules and regulations of APC and constitution of the country.
In his words,"With regards to the closure of candidature, we have up to November 17 for substitution. If I now decide to run on a different political platform for APC in the north senatorial zone, that I will let you know. I will come back to you, you are my friends, you should all know my decision. I will still see you again on this issue, certainly, before November 17”.
Abayomi who posits that " am in serious pain now " and had protested to Governor Akeredolu over the action of Oshiomhole, and vowed not to relent in demanding ‘immediate remedy’ that conforms with the constitution of Nigeria and that of the APC.
Saying in the meantime, " I have begun consultation with the party members in Ondo North Senatorial Zone to explore all remedies that are available and allowable, taking into consideration the interest of our people ".
