GROUP THROW SUPPORT FOR PMB, BOROFFICE

PMB

Ahead of 2019 election in Nigeria, scores of Youths under the aegis of Concerned Ondo North Youth (CONY) on Monday converged in Akure, ondo state capital in solidarity support for President Muhammadu Buhari and the Senator representing Ondo North District,Prof Ajayi Boroffice.

The youths in their solidarity passed vote of confidence in the two All Progressives Party(APC) stalwarts, seeking another term in office for what they described as their "excellent performances as public office holders".

The group led by Olusuyi Ajayi and other youths eulogised Buhari and Boroffice for been an examplary leaders.

The Ondo North Youths noted that Buhari as President had lifted the country in all forms within the last three years in office, while Boroffice, with his visible achievements should be allowed to consolidate the 'enviable works' as a Distinguished Senator of the federal Republic of Nigeria.

The  youth leaders said their resolve to support Boroffice for third term was based on  his outstanding performances and his unflinching support for President Buhari's administration.

The group took their decision after a political roadshow in Akure where some market women,  civil servants, and students participated in the solidarity gathering.

Ajayi promised to replicate the meeting in each of the six local government areas of Ondo North before the APC Senatorial primary election.

CONY members contended that Boroffice's proactive representation  had resulted in construction of Emergency Obstetrics Hospital,  Skill Acquisition Centers, Bio fuel Ethanol Plant,  provision of potable water in the six local governments, interest free-loan to women and youth and especially the assistance rendered by the lawmakwer in securing federal appointments for the graduates across the six local governments among others.

The group also hailed Buhari's administration for its anti- graft crusade, stressing that the country would have collapsed if the President had lost the 2015 Presidential election.

They however urged the Minister of Works, Power and Housing,  Babatunde Fashola, to urgently bail the people out of the deplorable Owo-Ikare,  Akungba -Isua, and Ipele-Kabba roads which according to them had almost become impassable.

At the meeting, the motion for the endorsement of Buhari and Boroffice for fresh terms was moved by a youth leader,Olakoyenikan Williams and supported by Alhaja Modupe Akadiri with over 1,000 youths in attendance.
