POLITICS : LEADERSHIP BANE OF NIGERIA DEVELOPMENT

Lack of good leadership with focus has been identified as bane for good governance,security and challenges for proper development in the country.
A former Democrat turned politician, Hon. Felix Alonge making the observation in Akure, the Ondo state capital over the weekend, said most of the leadership across the country lacks good rudiments entails for progress and developmental process that the society need to move forward.
According to him, Nigeria is a land rich both in human and resources needed for proper development, then the necessary manpower to manage and harness such resources were short of the required capacities and enablement to drive the available resources for positive development.
The Oka-born politician who is warming-up for the House of Assembly election for Akoko South West constituency (1) noted that , he is ready to make a difference if elected in the next election, at imparting positively in the lives of the people.
Alonge informs that he served in the public services for several years meritoriously without blemish, until he retires at the top of his career as permanent secretary in the public service of Ondo state.
Adding that experience acquired over the years,with his philanthropic nature as he has empower a lot of indigent people in his area, are enough for him in the task ahead, calling on other purposeful leadership across the country to join hands together in the drive at imparting good governance acro the country.
