ODSG VOWS TO DEAL WITH FOREST RESERVES ENCROACHERS -Olusina

The Ondo state government has vowed to continue to protect and preserve her rich forests reserves across the state from encroachers and other people with illegal activities.



Speaking on this development, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Natural Resources, Comrade Lawal Fatai Olusola in his at Akure said the government will at all times protect and preserve the natural endowments abound in the the forest reserves across the the state in the interest of the people.



In his chat with Society Premium, the  Governor's Aide posits that a special task force had been inaugurated by the government to ensure and maintain that any person, or group having dealings in the forest reserves in the state ,pass through due process.



According to him, the joint task force team, which have the combined  officials of the state government and relevant stakeholders have Continued and vigorously ensure that encroachers into the government forest reserves face a hard time.


Olusina noted that in the recent time, nothing less than fifteen (15)  encroachers have been arrested by the task force team for prosecution, while the team will continue to frown and dealt  with any culprit apprehended.


He however, added that the state government is ready to deal with any genuine investors who is ready to do a clean and due process activities in the forest reserves.


Adding that the Akeredolu led administration in the state is zero tolerance to corruption and waste of the public funds.
