ONDO: TWO GUBERNATORIAL CANDIDATES DEFECT TO APC

Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu,Chief Olusola Oke and Mrs Olamide Falana at the occasion.



Two gubernatorial candidates in the last governorship election in Ondo state have defected to the All Progressive Congress ( APC ) in the state.



Welcoming the decampees, the state acting chairman of the party, Engr. Ade Adetimehin  said the coming of the people back to the party is a welcome development, while the people will be integrate into the party system.



The acting chairman of the par stated that the party is bigger enough to accommodate all,promising that the party will continue in all her lofty goals and promises at making the state a viable and developed state.




The decampees,Chief Alexander Olusola Oke, former governorship candidate of Alliance for Democracy ( AD ) in the last election and Mrs Olamide Falana, former governorship candidate of Democratic People's Party ( DPP) come on board of APC with their teaming supporters.


Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu in his welcoming address to the decampees and the people ,noted that all the acrimony and disaffection of the past has turned to a thing of the past,noting that all is polity.


He posits that all the issues of the past is forgone, noting that the present is for them to join hands together at building and reshaping the party, APC for success now and in the future, as there are enough room for all in the party.


Governor Akeredolu informed that he will continue to work and relate with the decampees as friends and one in all dealings of the party, without any heart of bickering or disaffection.



Also speaking the decampees, Chief Olusola Oke noted that he decides to return to the party , dropping all ambition for now, with a clean heart of joining hands together at building the party, also Mrs Olamide Falana in her words says , she vowed to finally joined APC with her supporters  with views at moving the state forward.


The occasion witnessed political big wigs in APC in the state, teeming supporters of the decampees and members of APC in the state.
