When  visited the head quarters of the company along Ilesha highway, motorists were seeing on long queues to buy fuel, as the officials of the station maintain orderliness at the filling station.

When contacted on the development, the Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer ( MD/CEO) of the station, Engr. Bayo Olowookere said he took the hard decision after a meeting held with the state government on the lingering problem of Petroleum supply in the state and the country.

BAYDUK CEO posits that the step taken  is to heed to the voice of the state government, with hope that a solution will be proffer on the current situation.

Early in the week, officials of the state government led by the Special Assistance to the Governor on special duties, Dr.  Doyin Odebowale was alleged by the marketers of harassing , arresting and detaining their members for selling above the official approved pump price.

Other stations visited in the capital city were also sighted with long queues of vehicles and rows of Jerry cans for the buyers.  As some of the filling stations managers preferred to speak under anonymity, lamented on the development saying the situation if not rescued by the government may lead to acute fuel shortage in the state.

Some of the managers noted that, a situation they are lifting fuel at #165 to #173 at the depots and now they are force to be selling at #145 might lead to short changing and inability of some Marketers to lift fuel subsequently.

Therefore, the marketers plea with the state government to inwardly look at the situation and come to their rescue at the mercy of the public at getting the product regularly.
