MURDER : ROW IN ONDO POLICE COMMAND ...Over death of officer





Row in the ondo state police command with uncertainty  as one of its officers, ojelabi oladele, an inspector serving with the Special Anti Robbery Squad, SARS allegedly  murdered a colleague, who is also husband  to another police officer, over sex.

According to the woman police, okoro Gbemisola, whose husband was killed as a result of her refusal in yielding to the request of oladele, who doubles as a friend to her late husband, said, oladele had threatened her severally over the issue of sex which she turned dawn on the basis that the two men were friends.


Earlier before the incident, oladele and his team had arrested one Mrs Ademilola, an hairdresser at Oke Aro area of Akure, the state capital, on 17th October, around 5pm in her shop where she was asked to mention names of all her siblings before she would be released. She did out of fear and curiosity.

However, ademilola' s brother, ayodeji ,was again arrested and detained over an alleged robbery believed to have taken place in the area,( Oke aro). The same ojedele, lured the woman to sex and successfully had canal knowledge of her on the ground that her brother would be released which was not released eventually .



Late Seun Ayoade 


Seun Ayoade,the deceased was one of those that were arrested and detained in the custody of the police at the SARS for just no cause. The wife,gbemisola, a police officer said, her husband was the only one that died mysteriously among the so call  suspects.

According to her " Ayoade was killed because l failed to yield to oladele's request of having sex with me, he threatened to deal with me". She said.

"Imagine my husband's friend asking me to be going out with him, l said no over and over again, he continually disturbing me on it, not until l was told that my husband is dead as a result of gun duel with police, imagine!  She lamented"

I was transferred from Akure to Oshogbo to serve before l was later told he is dead.

While contacting the police public relations officer, Mr Femi Joseph Femi,on the matter said, he has been briefed on the matter and that the commissioner of police in the state has set up an investigation panel immediately to that effect.

Ojelabi was said to have later dumped the corpse of oladele at the state hospital mortuary labelled to have been killed by gun shot, but investigation revealed that no gun wound was found on his lifeless body.
