ONDO NEW SPEAKER, OTHERS DUMP PDP

The newly elected  Speaker  of the Ondo state House of Assembly Rt. Hon. David Bamidele  Oleyeloogun, his deputy   Ogundeji  Iroju and two  (2) others have dumped   the People's Democratic Party  ( PDP )for the All Progressive Congress  ( APC )shortly after their emergency as the leadership  of the House.

Oleyeloogun  Bamidele,  Speaker, from Ifedore state constituency,  Ogundeji Iroju,  Deputy Speaker  from Odigbo  state constituency,  Ayodeji  Arowele  from Owo constituency  and Segun  Ajimotokin  from  Ilaje Constituency, all former members of the PDP in the state, have now moved  to APC.

Speaking  at a press conference  held at the cocoa conference  hall of the Governor's  office in Akure,  Oleyeloogun  posits that it became necessary  for him and his colleagues  to dumped PDP for  the APC since their former party  has been distracted and divided from the Federal to the states and down to all local governments across the country,  hence for them to be focused and meet the yearnings  of electorates that voted them into office, they have to  take  the option  of APC.

Oleyeloogun  informed that other legislators  of the PDP are already on their way to join APC in the state,  promising  purposeful  and focus leadership  at the Assembly.

Hon. Iroju ,Deputy Speaker also added to the voice of the Speaker  noted that the decamping of the legislators  were borne  out of their determination to be on a veritable platform and party that can give the rightful,  sincere  and focus way at giving  dividends  of democracy  to the people  of the state, without  any self interest at first.
