AKEREDOLU WILL PERFORM ... urges Nigeria to shun corruption - MHR
A member representing Akoko North East/ West at the House of Representative, Abuja Hon. Stephen Olemija said citizens of ondo state should give time for the Akeredolu-led administration in the state to settle down and face governance in the state, rather than bombarding the administration with politics, that can cause distraction and affect focusing.
Olemija posits that election has come and gone, that it is now time to face the issue of real governance , which will affect the generality of the citizenry of the state, irrespective of political leanings as the state belong to all.
The member House of Representative, informed that time for politicking is over, noting that the yearnings and expectations of the people are many with various hope and expectation from the new administration, advice that the people should be patient at giving the leadership in the state time and attention to tackle their priorities.
Olemija who identify corruption as one of the banes to progress and development of the country, which he noted has eaten deep into all sectors of the nation, irrespective of position and strata in the society.
He noted that until the citizenry imbibe the true spirit of transparency, sincerity and honesty in whichever circumstances or positions they find themselves, with a true commitment at kicking -out corruption of the system, that the country will be an haven for all to live.
