ONDO : IGBO COMMUNITY TASK ON UNITY
Akeredolu, in a town hall meeting with the igbos at owo, his country home in owo local government area of the state, urges the Igbo communities in Ondo state to be their brothers keeper and be in peace with everyone, irrespective of tribe, religion or political leanings .
The governor - elect, who was represented by one of the igbo leaders in the state, Engr. Emeka Opara , said, that, lgbo people are known for diligence ,hard work and dedicated to duty and business which has helped them ( Igbos ) in all their endeavors.
" Everywhere in the world, lgbo people are known for diligence ,hard work and dedication ,which has helped them tremendously in all ramifications " he posits.
However, the pioneer leader of lgbo Community in the state, Chief Titus Umenweke, thanked the Governor elect and his wife, Mrs Betty Akeredolu, for the recognition accorded them and in preaching peace to all and sundry in the state at large, saying the beginning has justify the ending, that Akeredolu is indeed a man of peace in all ramifications .
The entire lgbo community unanimously agreed and resolved to come together as one indivisible entity under the auspices of Igbo General Assembly which will be coordinated by a central team comprising Engr. Emeka Opara, comrade Nneke lkechukwu, Chief Titus Umenweke, Chief Gregory others include Chief Samuel Owoyeiche, Chief kingsly Chukwuma.
